A Reminder of HotDoc’s Privacy Policy

The ACCC has recently instituted proceedings in the federal court against an Australian online health booking provider. In light of this, we want to take a moment to provide a reminder of our online booking provider HotDoc’s privacy policy and reassure patients that the continued safety of your privacy and information is of our utmost concern.

Castlecrag Medical Practice employs the HotDoc system to manage online bookings for the practice. HotDoc have no connection to the current claims and reassure us that they have never sold or misused patient information, nor engaged third parties for advertising purposes. You can find their patient privacy statement on their website by clicking this link.

Finally, please read on for HotDoc’s official statement on the matter.

In light of recent ACCC press release regarding legal proceedings against another online booking provider, we would like to take a moment to reassure all patients and practices that HotDoc is not part of these legal proceedings and has never sold or shared patients information to third parties for advertising purposes.

Our purpose is to enable the best possible healthcare experience for everyone in Australia and part of that is ensuring patients privacy and security is managed with the highest regard.
