Dr Catherine Jessop

Female (MBBS, FRACGP, Diploma of Child Health NSW) Joined the Practice in 2014.

Dr Catherine Jessop graduated from University of QLD in 1989. She completed her residency at the Royal Brisbane Hospital and Royal Children’s Hospital before entering general practice in 1993.

Catherine has over 20 years’ experience in family medicine having practiced in Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales, before moving overseas to Ireland and then Singapore. She re-joined the Castlecrag team in 2014.

Dr Jessop is interested in all areas of General Practice.

Female (MBBS, FRACGP, Diploma of Child Health NSW) Joined the Practice in 2022.

Dr Valerie Qu graduated from the University of NSW in 2011 and has worked as a GP in Sydney for 7 years. She is interested in all aspects of General Practice, and can speak Mandarin and Cantonese. When not working she enjoys spending time with her family, dog, playing badminton and gardening.

Dr Gurfateh Singh Sandhu

Male (MBBS, FRACGP, BSc (Adv)) Joined the Practice in 2022.

Dr Guru Sandhu is a passionate GP who believes in providing each one of his patients and their families the best care possible so they can physically and mentally thrive as individuals.

He grew up in Sydney. Initially graduating from James Ruse Agricultural High School, he continued on full scholarship to complete a double degree in Advanced Science (Majoring in Physiology, Anatomy and & Pathology) and MBBS at the University of Sydney. He has had five years of hospital training and experience at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Dubbo Base Hospital, Campbelltown Hospital and Alice Spring Base Hospital.

After finishing his Specialist General Practice Training, he has worked in Central and South West Sydney and joined our practice in 2022. Dr Sandhu prides himself on having a scientific and evidenced based approach to his medical care and recommendations. With each consultation, his aim to treat you, educate and empower you and most importantly, listen to you!

Dr Stephanie Apostopoulos

Female (BMedSc, MBBS, FRACGP) Joined the Practice in 2023.

Dr Stephanie graduated from Medical school in 2013 and achieved her RACGP Fellowship in 2018. She enjoys all aspects of being a GP and highly values building relationships with patients and their families over the years.

Childrens’ and adolescent health, women’s health, preventative health, mental health, travel medicine and chronic disease management.
